Global missions

We have made a long-term commitment for monthly support to the following missionaries:

  • Anna marie mazzone, germany

As part of the church leadership team in Bielefeld, Anna Marie oversees local outreach ministries. This includes working with refugee families from Syria, North Africa, Iran and other middle eastern countries. She leads the German-speaking Alpha Course for new believers and “Let´s Talk,” a ministry of sharing biblical truths about difficult questions. She also works with addicts and alcoholics on the street with a team that brings coffee and sandwiches. They share the Gospel, pray for people, listen and offer support and practical help.

  • gilles and gloria gravelle, the seed company

There are still hundreds of languages spoken by millions of people who don't have even one verse of God's Word they can access in their own language. That makes them distant from the truths that guide our lives. In 2017 Gloria will continue to work with Seed Company and local churches to train more local translators. Gilles is working with a group of organizations, funders, and strategists to help believers do translation in the most religiously risky places on earth. Unless Christians living in these places receive training, support, and encouragement, the Word will not spread very far. We've learned just getting the Bible to people faster doesn't always help. We also need to plan how translation will specifically address their most pressing needs. So Gilles is leading an effort at Seed Company to change our orientation to accelerating transformational impact with Bible translation.

  • gary and sue liljenberg, healing hearts

Healing Hearts Ministries was birthed from Sue’s personal experience with an abortion at the age of 18 and all of the emotional and physical complications that followed. In 1982, she experienced healing through Jesus Christ and felt led to comfort other women who have experienced the same trauma. Using the Bible as a foundation, she has counseled women since 1984 and is the author of three Bible studies that have ministered to women, men, and youth across the US and around the world. Sue and Gary have been married since 1984.
