Global missions

We have made a long-term commitment for monthly support to the following missionaries:

  • Sew POwerful, Zambia

We exist to combat extreme poverty in a very challenging place called Ngombe Compound in Lusaka Zambia. We do that by equipping community members with jobs as well as training, tools, and technical skills to make what we call “Purposeful Products”. Products that can bless local children and empower their academic success. Our current Purposeful Products include school uniforms, reusable feminine hygiene pads, food, and in the near-future soap. • Anna marie mazzone, germany

As part of the church leadership team in Bielefeld, Anna Marie oversees local outreach ministries. This includes working with refugee families from Syria, North Africa, Iran and other middle eastern countries. She leads the German-speaking Alpha Course for new believers and “Let´s Talk,” a ministry of sharing biblical truths about difficult questions. She also works with addicts and alcoholics on the street with a team that brings coffee and sandwiches. They share the Gospel, pray for people, listen and offer support and practical help. Check out her blog here.

  • gilles and gloria gravelle, the seed company

There are still hundreds of languages spoken by millions of people who don't have even one verse of God's Word they can access in their own language.  Gloria continues to work with local churches to train more local translators. Gilles is working with a group of organizations, funders, and strategists to help believers do translation in the most religiously risky places on earth. Unless Christians living in these places receive training, support, and encouragement, the Word will not spread very far. So Gilles is leading an effort to accelerate transformational impact with Bible translation. Learn more about the Seed Company here.

  • gary and sue liljenberg, healing hearts

Healing Hearts Ministries was birthed from Sue’s experience with an abortion at the age of 18 and all of the emotional and physical complications that followed. In 1982, she experienced healing through Jesus Christ and felt led to comfort other women who have experienced the same trauma. Using the Bible as a foundation, she has counseled women since 1984 and is the author of three Bible studies that have ministered to women, men, and youth across the US and around the world.
